About

Cameras and photography were an important part of my childhood. I loved cameras as physical objects. I often thought of family members' cameras as a representation of their identity. I also loved how photos could be used as a medium for storytelling.

Early digital cameras got me excited about capturing as much as my life as I could. It lead me to explore photo manipulation tools like Photoshop. The power of manipulating a photo got excited me about using photography as a medium for art expression. My experiments with photography led me to acquire an MFA in Photography from University of Illinois at Chicago.

These days I practice digital and film photography recreationally. My work ranges from 'straight out of the camera' snapshots to digital collage. This website aims to be a repository of the different types of photos that I take.

Some cameras I am currently using: Fuji X-E5, Minox 35 GT, and Contax T2. Learn more about my full camera collection.

During the day, I work as a designer. Feel free to get in touch via LinkedIn.
