Cameras and photography were an important part of my childhood. I loved cameras as physical objects. I often thought of family members' cameras as a representation of their identity. I also loved how photos could be used as a medium for storytelling.

Early digital cameras got me excited about capturing as much as my life as I could. It lead me to explore photo manipulation tools like Photoshop. The power of manipulating a photo got excited me about using photography as a medium for art expression. My experiments with photography led me to acquire an MFA in Photography from University of Illinois at Chicago.

These days I practice digital and film photography recreationally. My work ranges from snapshots to collage. This website aims to be a reponsitory of the different types of photos that I take.

Cameras I use or have used: Leica Q3, Fuji X100V, Fuji X100T, Fuji X-T2, Canon AE-1, Contax T2, Kodak Retina IIIc, Canon 5D Mark II, Rolleiflex, Canon EOS, Nikon D40, Canon Powershot S230.

During the day, I work as a designer. Feel free to get in touch via read.cv or LinkedIn.
