This camera totally changed the way I think about photography.
I carried this camera everywhere for nearly a decade. There was no excuse not to. I could operate it as a point and shoot, I could operate it like a fully manual film like camera. It was discrete. It was reliable.
The film simulations pushed me out of a world where I HAD to edit my RAW files, into a mentality of 'how much could I do right here and right now' to make a perfect JPEG. That challenge felt like film to me. And sometimes, it kinda looked like film too.
This camera feels great in the hands. I didn't feel the need to upgrade it until the X100V.
